Our Story
How you met, and how you came to be planning your big day.. Troy and I met at Morgan's Pub on August 20, 2004. I went to the bar with some girlfriends and he went with a couple of his friends. Neither of us had planned to go to this particular pub..we kind of ended up there. We started chatting and found out we both liked mountain biking. The next morning I called him and asked him if he'd like to go with me. We met at Fish Creek Park and spend the day rippin up the trails. We both loved it so much. Troy asked me to marry him on our 2 year anniversary. We were camping with friends out in Dickson Dam with our kids and sitting around the campfire that night, he showed me a locket he got for Karys. I opened it up and the one side said 'Will you marry me?' He then got down on one knee and gave me a beautiful ring and proposed!! Of course I said yes...and I cried. It was one of the happiest moments of my life. We both love to travel so decided that a beach wedding is something that would fit with what we love. So we have planned our wedding in the Mayan Riviera for May of 2007.
